Surgery Day!!!
Mom had surgery this morning starting about 11:30 and lasted until 4:30. Everything went great. The doctor put a plate in her upper right arm (humerus). The plate will be permanent. She was already starting to heal in the other parts of her arm and the doctors said that everything was looking great. Mom was very tired from surgery and just starting to come to when I left this evening. This is the beginning of the recovery stages. Thanks for all the prayers so far. Keep them coming.

Well, wonderful and at last!! As you said, Angie, the healing begins!! I am so glad to know the ups and downs about whether surgery was going to happen each day is over!!
Dearest Jill, one day closer until you are up and on your feet to recovery. You know how we know things about each other when something is happening. Today, I prayed in a knowing that you needed extra care today. God continues to lift you up and all those who care for you. I know you know what a wonderful family you have already, oh but, Jill, they are so very precious and caring and doing all the right things for you and all of us who love you by keeping us informed. David is such a strong voice in your care. He became your enforcer and voice for you. I believe with all my heart he is taking each step as God directs him in your care whether it be a soft voice or a strong one with a Big stick to make sure you receive only the best for his Best, you.
Sleep well and know prayers are blessing you as you sleep.
Love,
Pam

Hi Jill,
I don't think you know me but I'm another Curves member who has been horrified by your terrible accident.
I've been out of town for a few days and just got on here to see how you're doing. I'm soooo glad to see you are doing so well.
You're on everyone's mind and all are praying for your speedy recovery.
Thanks to your family for setting up this blog.
Hang in there. Sheri
Mary and I continue to pray...great news on the surgery going well!
