A day of rest
Today mom rested most of the day, which is great. The doctors visited with dad this morning and said that the average icu patient gets 2 hours of sleep during a 24 hour period. So, we have decided for right now to limit the visitations to immediate family only so mom can get her rest. She did get her left wrist in a cast. And they will be moving the port on her right shoulder to a left iv in the arm, probably on Monday morning sometime. She is scheduled for surgery on Monday sometime, we aren't aware of what time yet, for her right arm. Please continue the prayers. Mom is such a strong being. Thank the Lord for everything he has already done and continues to do.

Thank God for miracles like this. Jill seems to be responding to the medical care that she is getting and God is bringing all of us through this together. We are praying for the family as well as Jill. To watch the one who was hurt so badly is almost harder than being the one that has been injured so badly. God bless your family from our family. Doyle and Dorothy Reading.
Dear Jill,
You are making such good progress. We are all waiting to hear your wonderful laugh and see your pretty smile again. There is a flock of angels surrounding your hosp. bed 24/7. They are making sure that evey thing goes as planned and that you get your rest. You have had more visitors that the parking lot can hold! Every one of them are sending you their prayers and happy thoughts so that you can get well quicker. David has never left your side during this entire thing.
He loves you sooooooo much! He cares deeply for you and is devoted to you. He is making sure that you are getting the best of care. YEA DAVID! Your 2 kiddos Andy and Angie have been amazing as well. All of your good work is paying off. ha-ha. Lauren and Hadley have been to see you almost every single day. And Jared and Hunter and Peyton are waiting until you get stronger to give you big hugs! So, that gives you an idea of what is happening while you are recovering. We love you! And we look forward to hearing your beautiful laugh again.
Love,Di
I just wanted to say I love you all. I was coming this weekend but will do what is best for Jill and family because that is all that matters. I miss her and all of you very much. My prayers are ongoing and am blessed to have each of you in life. Give each other a big ole hug from me.
Love,
Pam
Jill, today's devotional from the "Bless Your Heart" Devotioanls you gave me in 1982, which I have read everyday since the day you gave it to me, says" Faith came singing into my room and other guests took flight. Grief, anxiety, fear and gloom, sped out into the night. Lord, this day may I stay close to You and rest in the calmness of Your presence. Amen.
I love you, my sweet, precious, best friend.
Pam
Jill, I am out of town right now and missing seeing your family and checking up on your progress in person. Thanks to Angie for keeping us so well updated! Thinking of your often, praying for you, love you!
Belinda
Jill,
I am so glad to hear you are improving every day! You have been in my prayers daily and I think about you often. I will come see you when you are feeling better. It sounds like David, Angie, & Andy are taking good care of you. Ronica & Jerri Beth said to tell you they are thinking of you, too. They ask about you often.
Love,
Bonnie
"I can do all things through Him that strengthens me." I pray this for you David, for you Jill, for you Andy and for you Angie. We are continuing in prayer. Love, Marcia
