First week at home

Praise God from whom all blessing flow. What a blessing to finally be home. It has been so incredibly awesome to be able to sleep in my own bed with David and dogs. The first day at home I overdid it and my left leg let me know that I needed to prop it up more and rest more. I have been doing that better now. Therapists are coming daily to my house and working with me on getting better. I have a routine I practice daily with nap time and work time.

Went to the doctor today and found out that I will be having knee surgery on Feb. 4 at OU Medical Center. I will be getting my new knee brace next week to help support my knee better when I move around and start walking more.

I sure have enjoyed seeing all my friends and family coming by to say hi at home. Please continue to call and come by as I tend to get lonely by myself. Thanks to everyone again for all your prayers.

Signing off now. Love, Jill

It is so good to her your voice in your words. Take it easy and be patient with yourself and with David and God will provide what you need to continue healing. We (the girls) have talked about coming to see you soon so don't be suprised

Jill,
I am just elated to hear how well you are doing. What a testimony you now have to share with the world. Nothing is too big for Him, He proved that with your recovery!

I wish I wasn't so far away so I could come spend an afternoon with you. I want so much to see you and hug your neck and see you face to face. One of these days, I might just pop in for a visit....with Sarah and Mom! Wouldn't that be fun?

Angie is just so wonderful to have kept everyone updated on your progress. It was such a blessing to get her emails and check in on how you were. She is so great...and so is David, Andy, and the rest of your family!

I love you so much and am grateful to our God for His Mercy and His Grace. He is an awesome God!

Love you,
Lorie

Jill it is so good to hear from you. I check on you regularly and post. I miss you like crazy. The bank isn't the same without you. My daughter asks about you everyday and prays for you every night. I have also prayed for your daily. Your journey has been an amazing testimony to so many and especially me. When you think there is no hope you look at your strength and spirit and God's hand at work and you believe. You are such an amazing person. I can't wait to visit with you. Hang in there you are doing great and it is almost over. I'm so glad you are home. Love, Tara Nichols
