Going Home!!!
Hello to all. Hope everyone had a great New Year. Mom will be going home today. She is doing awesome and ready to go to her house. She will still be getting rehab from home now. The therapists will be coming over to her house. She did find out that she does have some nerve damage in her left leg/knee area. They are making her a special brace to wear so she can walk easier. She can maneuver around by herself. She has great upper body strength and can push herself in her wheelchair where she needs to go. She also uses her walker to stand and walk behind. She has a special boot that goes inside her left shoe to help stabilize when she moves about. She loves to hear from everyone so now you can call her at home. 405-478-5324. Jill, this is truly, the day the LORD has made possible!!! With a lot of help from your loving husband. I am filled with joy for you and David!! There is no place like home --the smell of it, the touching of familiar things, and looking at all the blessings that you and David have placed in your home to make it yours'.
