Moved to room #215
Mom has had a better weekend. She was moved to a private room on Friday so she is now in room 215. We found out today that she has a bladder infection and is on antibiotics. She is really in good spirits. It is hard for her to wake up every morning because she is confused about where and why she is in the hospital. Once, she realizes what is going on, it gets better for her. She has an appointment on Friday with her orthopedic doctors at the OU Medical Hospital. Hopefully we can find out the game plan and have a lot of questions answered about what is next with her recovery process. We want to thank everyone so much for volunteering to sit with mom during the day. It has helped us out so much.

Angie...It was so great to spend time with your mom on Friday. I wished I didn't have to leave. You're right - after she was awake for a while, she was much more lucid. Then she took a nap, and when she awoke, it took her awhile again. I coaxed a couple of smiles from her and that made my day - seeing her smile! Among other things, she talked mostly about her precious grandkids - and David, always wanting to know where David was.
I kept hearing her voice in my head that night and it was remarkably calming for me. I love her so much! I will try to be back soon. Love and blessings to all ... Debra
I wish we lived closer. I would love to spend time with you and your family. I cherish the short time we spent with everyone in October.
The messages that I sent were not posted in the past, so I hope this one makes it.
We are very proud of our cousin Jill and hope for a speedy and complete recovery.
Love Judy and Bob
Jill,
It was so good to see you on Saturday. I know you felt better after your bath. It was so wonderful to hear you talking and laughing some. I am praying for you daily for a speedy recovery. I love you lots and hopefully when I come see you again you will be even better. Keep it up girlfriend.
This has been a struggle but I know God will get you through this. Just remember we all love you and are praying for you.
Love you, Mistie
Jill:
It was so wonderful to spend the afternoon with you today helping you. Didn't we have fun wheeling outside in the wheelchair and looking at God's beauty? The icecream tasted pretty good too. I thought it was great when the nurses from down by your other room saw you and were amazed. You said you felt like you had "won an academy award." I think you deserve one my Spirit sister. Keep on keeping on and trusting Jesus for your healing. We love you and continue to pray for you! Marcia
