Continue to have the faith!!

Not a lot of change. Mom is becoming very aware of what is going on now and she is not very happy. For those of you who have already visited her, she is not very happy with things the way they are. She will ask you to let her loose of her casts and legs. Please bear with us. This is a difficult time for our family knowing this is not our Jill, mom, in the bed. How ironic that Jared's bible memory verse for school this week is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. Now that I have said that, we have to lean on God for all of this. He has a plan for mom and even though we are frustrated and don't understand, God does. We do need some volunteers to please go and sit with mom during the day. We need a morning volunteer from 9am-1pm or so and then 1pm-5pm or so. Please contact dad if you can help at 623-9209 or me(Angie) at 306-6286 and let us know. We are covered thru Thursday this week.

Jill, I was with you on Saturday and I know the difficulty you are having with the pain, the casts, the braces, the tubes, and the confusion of all of it. Your body was reacting to yet, another infection, and another problem happening that all had to be addressed with medical procedures and different prescriptions. You've had 9 surgeries and a variety of continuous invasive procedures done. That would take its tole on anyone. Yet, Jill, you are fighting to get well. There is sadness and hurt from all of us for you and your family and we hurt because you hurt during this time but what a JOY in that you are alive, awake, talking, and noticing things. It may not be good times but it is time. We're taking the minute steps with you and speaking powerful prayers on your behalf to make way for more mountains to move!! This is a war we're all taking on and our Christian armour is strong and ready.
Sleep well, my bestest friend.
Love Always,
Pam

Angie, thanks again for keeping us updated. I look forward to sitting w/Jill on Thursday. Just remember that you all are not alone. You have so many friends who are lifting you, Andy and David up in prayer daily. We love you all. Dana and family

I am available next week, after Veteran's Day. I'd be happy to give David some relief. Maybe I could read to Jill? We miss her terribly at church, and her name comes up often, asking for updates. I'll call one of the numbers listed and set up a day/time to come. We continue to pray for healing, comfort, encouragement, courage, and strength.

Jill, it is heartbreaking to see what you have ahead of you, but you are fighting through it. While it may be difficult for those of us sitting with you, it in no way compares to what you are working and fighting for - recovery. Please know we continue to pray for you, David, Angie, and Andy. I look forward to the day when you can "just get all this stuff off!" It will happen, you are on the (albeit bumpy) road to recovery, and we are right there beside you. Love you!

Jill and family, This too will pass, and we are thinking of all of you daily. I know this is an uphill battle but things will get better. Jill is a fighter, and her "toughness" will help to overcome. Angie, we appreciate your updates and look forward to news and progress. She is obviously getting stronger to be able to "fuss" and that is good, tho difficult to deal with. She will overcome!!!
