Merry Christmas to ALL!!

Hello everyone. I know it has been awhile since I posted but mom is doing awesome. She is still at Mercy Hospital in OKC and in Room#259. I work in the outpatient pharmacy there so I get to go up and have lunch with her daily. It is so great to have my mom back and so close to home. Her rehab is going great. She has the physical, speech, and occupational therapy 4-5 times daily. She has made friends with all of the staff there if you can imagine that. She is able to get up and walk with the assistance of her therapist and her handy walker. She didn't realize that it would be so hard to train her feet to walk again. She is such a trooper. She is going to get her first pass to leave the hospital on Christmas Day. Dad is picking her up and bringing her to my house from 10am-4pm. We are so excited, needless to say mom is ecstatic. We chose my house because it is the closest and doesn't have any steps up to or inside of it. She is ready to get some fresh air even if it is freezing air. Please continue to keep mom and our families in your prayers. Go see and visit mom because she absolutely loves for everyone to pop in on her and say hi. Rehab Bound

Mom has been moved to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She is on the rehab floor in room #259. Her phone number is 405-486-8259 to her direct room. She would love to hear from anyone who wants to talk to her. She did go to OU Medical Center this morning for her doctors appts and they released her to have rehab. She will start ASAP. Thanks for all the prayers from everyone. Mom's new motto is Why worry when you can pray? She has been telling everyone she meets that she is a miracle in the works thanks to Jesus Christ. Amen. We love you all.

Miracle Jill

Hello to everyone. We have some awesome news, mom went to the doctor this past week and he told her that her left knee, which was the bad knee, is looking great and can heal with physical therapy, NO SURGERY!!!! Yes, that is a miracle, even the doctors were amazed how everything is going for mom. She loves telling everyone she meets about her journey so far and loves to proclaim her love for Jesus Christ. Man, if you don't believe in him, go talk to Jill Best. She has always been an incredible lady but now she is just gleaming with the spirit. We will hopefully get her moved to rehab the first part of the week. I will keep everyone informed on when the move will take place. Go see mom if you get a chance, she loves to have visitors. Prayer is such an awesome thing!!!
